Verified by hand

No algorithm decides.
A person verifies.

Anyone can build a marketplace and let anyone sell. We did the opposite. Every single shop on Tongraal is verified by a human — door, owner, and story — before it ever goes live. Here's exactly how.

📮
Step 1
The shop applies
The owner tells us their story — the shop, the street, the craft. With the application we ask for a storefront photo with the sign visible and the owner's government-issued ID. No anonymous applications, no agencies applying on behalf of "brands".
🗺️
Step 2
We find the door on the map
We look up the address on Google Street View and match it against the storefront photo. A real sign, on a real street, at the address given. If the door doesn't exist, the conversation ends there — politely, but firmly.

Step 3
We verify the person
The ID confirms a real human stands behind the counter. It's checked once by our verification team, stored encrypted, never shared, and deleted on request once verification is complete. We verify people, we don't collect them.
Step 4
The shop goes live — verified
Decision within 3 business days, with a reason either way. Approved shops receive the verified badge, a founding number if they're among the first 100, and a profile page that tells their story the way it deserves to be told.

What never gets through.

Dropshippers — catalogs without a street
Resellers of mass-market products
Online-only "brands" without a storefront
Franchises and chains
Shops nobody can actually visit
Anyone unwilling to prove who they are
